6BC in Cambridge 30.3.-6.4.2016

We were in Cambridge during this year’s language week.

Cambridge is a lovely city with lots of historic buildings. It is not so noisy and hurried as a metropolis, but it is still big enough to get utterly lost. Although Cambridge is bicycle-friendly, it was still a struggle to set our brain to ride on the “wrong” side of the road. We even attempted to punt in the River Cam, which was a great way to enjoy a nice view of the famous colleges.  We were also a bit amused by the English food that was served by our host families.

On Saturday we had a visit to London. I will not ever forget the impressive view of Big Ben, Tower Bridge and Buckingham Palace.

Luckily for us, the only thing we didn’t get was authentic British weather. It was a really intense but delightful week for us.
