Visiting the UN Headquarters in Vienna

On Thursday March 23rd, the 7A and 7C, accompanied by Mag. Spielauer and Mag. Huebl, went on a trip to visit the UN center in Vienna. Our tour guide explained which countries are part of the United Nations and which roles it has. He showed us different parts of the building where important organisations, such as the International Atomic Energy Agency, work and what they actually do. Additionally, he told us about the goals the UN tries to achieve and in what way they are important.

To sum up, he gave us a good overall view of the duties and responsibilities the United Nations has, to make the world a better place.
