English in Action
From June 7-10, the 7th grades had the opportunity to participate in an English in Action course. We had six English lessons a day for four days in a row. Three native speakers from England and Scotland had planned various activities for us: a simulated courtroom trial, a fake auction, discussions about engaging topics, the writing of a script, the playing of mini dramas and many more. By speaking English the whole day, not only did we effectively improve our language skills, but we also gained an insight into the British culture while having loads of fun. Looking back on the last week, it was an enriching experience with a lot of memorable and funny moments. Practice makes perfect – especially with native speakers!
