22 students from 7A, 7C and 8A visited the English Theatre in Vienna: 38 Shakespeare plays in 97 minutes. How can this be done? Three fantastically engaging actors prove that it can. It was a thoroughly enjoyable show, especially the audience involvement!

Mag. Martina Spielauer

I absolutely loved The Complete Works of Shakespeare, especially the way Hamlet was portrayed. The best part was when our classmate Valerie was called up in stage to perform a scream as Ophelia – my highlight of the show.

Sarah Angelo, 8A

“Although at first I didn‘t know what to expect from a play claiming to condense all of Shakespeare’s works into two hours, the generally light-hearted and unusual interpretation made it a pleasure to watch. The best moment was when the actors made Valerie play Ophelia for a short time.”

David Ehmoser, 8A

“The play was incredibly funny and felt very modern in its staging. The performance of Hamlet was the highlight and was portrayed brilliantly.”

Elisabeth Oitzl, 8A

The Complete Works of Shakespeare was a brilliant theatre experience. It was fascinating how they combined such a historically significant author with so much humour, while still presenting the complex structures of his plays in such an accessible and effortless way. The performance genuinely made me laugh throughout the evening. I honestly had one of the best laughs I have had in a long time.”

Andrej Plesko, 7C

„ I really loved the performance, it was funny, creative and never boring. The actors were amazing and made the whole play exciting to watch.“

Paul Simetzberger, 7C
